Tim Weah handed two game suspension at Copa América

The United States Men’s National Team have been hit with another blow on Saturday.

According to The Athletic, Tim Weah has received a two-game suspension following his red card against Panama on Thursday.

The winger struck the head of defender Roderick Miller 18 minutes into the USA’s eventual 2-1 loss.

This means that even if the Americans beat Uruguay in their group finale, they will be without Weah in the quarter-finals.

The USA must match or better Panama’s result against Bolivia to make it to the next round.
