The First Alert Weather Team is tracking Tropical Storm Beryl.
The National Hurricane Center said it will initiate advisories on Tropical Storm Beryl, which is located over the central tropical Atlantic Ocean, beginning Friday at 5 p.m.

Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh said in the latest edition of Talking the Tropics With Mike that Beryl is forecast to become a Cat. 2 over the Central Caribbean while turning more northwest with time… and is expected to be a hurricane before reaching the Lesser Antilles Monday, July 1.
There’s no impact to Jacksonville or Florida it would appear though the storm is expected to weaken some later next week over the Western or Northwest Caribbean in an environment that *appears right now* to be less favorable plus there may be some land interaction.
