Ashley Flood story: If you are a mother and you have breast cancer then you must have your daughter’s scanned and ultrasound because now your daughter has a strong chance of getting cancer. Breast cancer is now the leading cause of cancer in women. The disease was commonly found in women between the ages of 50 and 60, but now younger women are also suffering from the disease. Women with breast cancer are found not only in backward and developing countries but also in developed countries at almost the same rate. A lady Ashley Flood is one of them who was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.
Ashley FloodĀ is working at Twitter for the last eight years, last week she shared her story of breast cancer and urged young women to diagnose every year to avoid breast cancer. Ashley is to celebrate her birthday and anniversary in October. She said in a tweet that;
Seven months ago I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, I urge womens to diagnose every year to check, because early detection means early cure.
October is my favorite month because itās my anniversary & birthday month. But this year, it takes on a whole new meaning. Seven months ago I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. In an instant, I joined a club I never knew existed.

Early detection is the closest thing we have to a cure. It saved mine and it may save yours. #CheckYourBoobs, schedule those annual exams and when the time comes, get your mammogram. Donāt be offended when I say, we donāt want you in our club.
