UPDATE: All lanes remain closed due to semi crash on SB I-75 in Dayton

Southbound Interstate 75 remains closed after a semi crash early Wednesday morning.

We’re working to learn how much longer drivers can the lanes to be closed and will provide updates as we learn more.

Traffic remains a mess after a semi crash on Southbound Interstate 75 in Dayton early Wednesday morning.

As Xavier Hershovitz reported on News Center 7′s Daybreak, a semi partially tipped over on I-75 SB between Stanley Avenue and State Route Four.

Photos and video show the semi tipped to its and debris off to the side.

All lanes remain closed on I-75 SB and traffic has been diverted onto State Route 4.

ODOT cameras are showing delays on I-75 past Stanley Avenue.

It is expected to grow throughout the rest of the morning commute.

Drivers can use the contraflow lane on SB I-75 or take the surface streets to avoid delays.

Drivers can exit off I-75 SB at Stanley Avenue, Needmore Road, or Benchwood Road, according to WHIO Traffic Reporter Jake Magnotta.

Dayton Police and medics were dispatched at 2:25 a.m. on initial reports of a crash on I-75 SB between Stanley Avenue and State Route Four.

ODOT cameras show the right lanes are closed and a semi partially tipped over

Initial scanner traffic indicated a possible gas leak, but News Center 7 has not confirmed that.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch said there was a possible HazMat situation and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is also on the scene.

Hershovitz says traffic on I-75 SB is being diverted onto State Route Four.

The right lanes are closed after a semi-crash on Southbound Interstate 75 in Dayton early Wednesday morning.

Dayton Police and medics were dispatched at 2:25 a.m. on initial reports of a crash on I-75 SB between Stanley Avenue and State Route Four.

News Center 7′s Xavier Hershovitz is checking conditions and providing LIVE updates NOW on News Center 7′s Daybreak.

Initial scanner traffic indicated there is a possible gas leak, but News Center 7 has not confirmed that.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch says there is a possible HazMat situation and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is also on the scene.

Hershovitz says that traffic in the contra-flow lane is open.

ODOT cameras show a large police and fire response on I-75 SB between Stanley Avenue and State Route Four.

Traffic is being diverted onto State Route 4.

Initial scanner traffic also said the semi may have partially flipped over and hit a highway sign.
