Ricky Skirt, president of Cricket West Indies, has today announced an investigation into the team’s failure to qualify for the Twenty20 World Cup. According to details, two-time champions West Indies crashed out in round one of the T20 World Cup on Friday after a nine-wicket defeat by Ireland in Hobart. West Indies won the World Cup in 2012 and 2016 but have lost six of their eight matches in the 2022 event since that last victory. “I am very disappointed with the results of my team’s performance in Australia and I appreciate the sense of disappointment that many people are feeling,” Ricky Skirt said.
