Barge crashes into Texas bridge and causes oil spill
A barge crashed into a bridge in the city of Galveston, Texas, on Wednesday, causing it to partially collapse. The collision also caused an oil spill in the bay. The bridge, which is the only road connecting the small island community of Pelican Island to Galveston, was closed. The island is home to industrial businesses, residential homes, and a university campus.
