Aldi cautioned: “As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because this product may have been contaminated with pieces of metal. Anyone who bought this product should return it to their nearest store for a full refund. We would like to reassure our customers that no other Aldi products are affected and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

The retailer further clarified: “We are only recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White (8x62g product only and not 8x31g mini wraps)”.

Aldi reassured customers about product safety, stating: “All our products go through rigorous safety and quality checks. We are recalling this product as a precautionary measure.”

The company confirmed the withdrawal of the affected product from sale, saying: “We have removed and are recalling this product from sale in all stores.
