Amanda Holden looked incredible as she follows in Holly Willoughby’s footsteps and celebrates her ‘dream come true’ news. The Britain’s Got Talent judge is set to follow the This Morning star to streaming giant Netflix as Amanda is the latest big name to land a show.

She has been confirmed as the host of new show Cheaters: Unfinished Business, a dating series with a “conceptual twist” – following eight ex-couples reuniting after one party cheated on the other.

Amanda, who first sprung to public attention as a contestant on Blind Date in 1991, is expected to begin filming abroad later this summer and excitedly shared the news of her latest gig on Instagram.

Alongside a video in which the Heart Breakfast co-host, 53, could be taking in a breathtaking view as she wind blew through her hair, she said: “Sometimes dreams really do come true!! All my career I always wanted to host a show about love & relationships – this is it!!”

She continued: “‘Cheaters: Unfinished Business’ is a @netflixuk series about second chances. I can’t wait, along with our experts, to meet and help these couples work out whether they can forgive and forget. I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of it and cannot wait to start filming in June #itsbeensohardtokeeponthedownlow. Big kiss to my husband Chris Hughes and @emmassampson @emilyaarthur @nathan.charles.smith.”

And her celebrity pals were quick to offer their support. Loose Women star Ruth Langsford said: “Congratulations! Sounds right up my street!” Leigh Francis, also known as comedy alter-ego Keith Lemon, commented: “Well done!” Former soap star Lucy-Jo Hudson replied: “You will be perfect for this. Well done babe.”

Meanwhile, Amanda also took to her Instagram Story with a snap in which she could be seen sporting a tiny red bikini alongside a classic red phone box. She could be seen pretending to be taking a call on the beach, with a sign in the phone box belonging to Netflix.

Her new show comes 31 years after Amanda first appeared on TV as a contestant on Cilla Black’s Blind Date. She went on to carve out an acting career in the 90s starring on TV shows such as The Bill, Jonathan Creek and Wild at Heart but soon became a judge on ITV’s BGT while becoming a radio host and recently expanding her repertoire to front Sky documentary Sex: A Bonkers History, BBC travel show Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job and now, her very own Netflix series.
