Police have issued a CCTV appeal after almost £1,000 worth of items were stolen from Boots on a busy street in south Manchester.

The goods were stolen from the store on Wilmslow Road in Didsbury at around 9.45am on Tuesday, April 23. Police said the two offenders – a male and a female – went into the shop, before the man handed items to the woman.

The woman then ‘placed the items into her clothing’. The pair left Boots without paying for items with a total value of around £957.
