Balochistan: Pakistan Army Chief (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa on Saturday visited Turbat (Balochistan) where he spent his full day with the troops, says ISPR. COAS was given a comprehensive briefing at FC HQ Balochistan on the security situation in the area. COAS was received by the Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali.

COAS visited Turbat:
General Bajwa was briefed about the situation about Pak Iran border fencing. He was also briefed about the steps being taken to counter the hostile efforts to destabilize the security situation in Balochistan. COAS also visited Kech where 10 soldiers were martyred by the banned terrorist outfit. Chief said that army will make all the necessary efforts to assist the provincial government to curb terrorism in Balochistan and will assist the government towards the achievement of enduring prosperity, and peace.
He also paid tribute to the Shuhada and said that the terrorists shall be brought to justice, and the blood of the martyrs will not go to waste. Balochistan is the future of Pakistan, and the progress and prosperity of the province mean the progress of the country. He further said that;
Our enemies will not succeed at any cost, stability, and prosperity of Balochistan shall be pursued, and ensured by any means
