EastEnders aired a worrying development for Linda Carter in the show’s latest episode (April 8).
The Six have been left reeling following the discovery of Keanu Taylor’s body last week and Sharon Watts’ subsequent arrest.
Monday’s episode, which is already available to watch on BBC iPlayer, saw Johnny Carter represent Sharon down at the police station.
Sharon had spent her night in the cells following her arrest but was determined to stick to her story.
Both she and Johnny faltered when the detective offered new evidence which had come from Ian Beale – the body had been wrapped in tarpaulin that had gone missing from the Square on Christmas night.
When the police left the interview room, Johnny questioned Sharon on what she had done with the murder weapon.
Sharon quietly explained that it was with Kathy, who was busy coming up with a new plan of her own with Suki.
The remaining Six women then all gathered before they being re-questioned by the police.
Johnny later arrived home without Sharon and went to see Kathy, keen to hear what she had done with the weapon that incriminated Linda.
He was furious to see that Suki and Stacey were also with her, and berated them for being careless by meeting altogether.
Suki intervened and revealed their new plan – they’re keeping hold of the murder weapon as insurance and will frame Linda if they have to.
Johnny was horrified by this and told them they needed to get rid of it immediately, but Kathy and Suki explained that they needed to do this to protect their own futures. What will this mean for Linda?
