Emmerdale fans think they have spotted Tom King’s downfall after seemingly making a blunder after brutally attacking Vinny Dingle. Viewers of the ITV soap know that Tom is increasingly becoming more controlling of his new wife Belle.
There were first some concerning scenes in October when Tom popped the question to Belle and didn’t take her turning him down very well, assuming it meant she didn’t love him, and a brief move left her bleeding on the floor.
They eventually got engaged in December when Belle roped in his heroes Torvill and Dean for the surprise and the pair married earlier this year. However, their wedding night ended with Belle in tears and sleeping on the sofa after Tom shouted at her and ridiculed her for wanting to read a letter from her late mum, Lisa.

Tom’s coercively controlling behaviour has since continued to escalate with him placing a tracker on Belle’s phone and installing a camera in their home, which he said was a ‘dog cam’ to keep an eye on new pet pooch, Piper, when really he’s keeping tabs on her.
During Thursday night’s (April 18) trip to the Dales, Tom had headed off to a spa hotel on a vetinary course with Vanessa Woodfield but rather than make the most of the facilities, he claimed he was revising when really he was checking up on Belle who was back home enjoying some time with her friend Vinny.
In a rage, Tom headed home only to find Belle and Vinny gone as they had taken Piper and Vinny’s dog Chip out for a walk. After sharing that her phone was on the blink, Vinny offered to take a look for Belle and as she headed home she tried to ring Tom who wasn’t answering as he’d headed to the scrapyard where he’d tracked her phone to.
When Vinny returned to the cabin on the site, Tom whacked him over the head from behind and after realising he wasn’t moving, Tom panicked thinking he’d killed him. While viewers had to wait to see what happens to Vinny, they are convinced they’ve rumbled Tom’s downfall.
