Asma, a diligent mother of two delightful children, has been a stalwart in the beauty industry for over a decade and a half. Her journey, which began as a mobile beautician, culminated in the establishment of her own clinic About MOI, where she utilizes her extensive experience across various facets of the industry to offer a broad range of beauty and aesthetic treatments.
Her Aesthetic Clinic has garnered significant acclaim, earning the prestigious SHE Business Woman of the Year award and securing a finalist position in the subsequent year. Remarkably, her clientele has grown purely through word-of-mouth recommendations.
Asma’s personal experiences with skin issues during her adolescence have equipped her with a deep understanding and empathy for the concerns and challenges associated with skin care. To further her knowledge, she undertook courses in skincare product creation, enabling her to better comprehend skincare ingredients and their effects on the skin.
Asma’s passion for beauty has been a lifelong affair, with fond memories of crafting homemade masks and scrubs. “I have always enjoyed beauty, I used to make masks, scrubs from homemade ingredients,” she recalls.
In addition to her clinic work, Asma has also ventured into teaching beauty courses across various platforms, aiming to empower others to realize their ambitions and attain success in the field.
Asma places great importance on self-care, prioritizing her own well-being through skincare routines, socializing with friends over a cup of tea, and regular gym visits. “To me, self-care is very important. I priorities myself when it comes to looking after my skin, meeting friends for a cuppa, going to the gym. To me, all of these come under self-care,” she explains. “I believe if you take care of yourself then you can take care of others much better.”
