Prime Minister Imran Khan Condemns and took notice of his Assistant Special Health Minister Dr. Zafar Mirza’s behavior in the Supreme Court.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan also took notice of the Supreme Court’s failure to properly present the government’s efforts to prevent Coronavirus and complained to Assistant Special Health Minister Zafar Mirza.
Sources said that Zafar Mirza, as a special assistant, was obliged to present the government’s efforts comprehensively to the Supreme Court.
According to sources, Dr. Zafar Mirza failed to respond satisfactorily to the Supreme Court questions.
It may be recalled that Chief Justice had taken notice of the government’s actions regarding the Coronavirus in the past and expressed his deep disappointment over the performance of the ruling government.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice inquired what Zafar Mirza was and what is his potential? The questions raised in the previous court order were not answered and Mirza did not follow the court’s instructions.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed said that we are not satisfied with Mirza’s performance and I will order him to be removed today.
The Attorney General said that removing Zafar Mirza would be catastrophic on this occasion.
In addition to this, during the hearing of other cases, the Supreme Court has expressed profound indifference to the actions of the government.
