This summer, you’ll be able to see Keanu Reeves playing bass regardless of which pill you take. The actor, known for such roles as The Matrix’s Neo, John Wick, and air-guitar enthusiast Ted, will be hitting the road with Dogstar, the grungy trio he first played with in the Nineties and early 2000s. The band reunited in 2020 and released a new album, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, last year. Now, they’re embarking on what they’ve dubbed the Summer Vacation Tour.

“We are having the best time out here on the road interacting with fans at these shows, we wanted to keep it going!” the group said collectively in a statement. “For this next U.S. run starting in August, we will be planning to try out some new songs as well. Hope to see you out there!”

Presale tickets go on sale via the band’s website on Wednesday at noon local time. The rest of the tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

The band, which also features guitarist-vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhouse, released videos for “Everything Turns Around” and “Breach.” They also performed “Blonde” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The band played its first concert after a more than two-decade gap a little over a year ago. “The way this record came together was nothing short of magical for us,” the group said at the time of the album’s release. “The fun, the passion, and the friendship shines through on these recordings and hopefully the variety of emotions will connect and resonate with everyone the way they do for us.”
