‘Rough Seas’ Slam Cornwall Town

A coastal town in Cornwall, England, was battered by huge waves and gusty winds on Monday, April 8, following the arrival of Storm Kathleen over the weekend and another storm dubbed Pierrick by Meteo France on Monday.

Footage filmed and posted to X by Carl Bovis shows huge waves flooding the port promenade in Porthleven.

“This evening at Porthleven in Cornwall … have you ever seen seas this rough?” Bovis wrote on X.
