Karachi: Lahore won by 6 wickets in a nail-biting game. The 6th match of PSL 7 was played between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings. Lahore had won the toss and invited Kings to bat. Fakhr Zaman became the first player to score a century in PSL 7 with the help of 11 fours and four sixes off 56 balls. This is the third defeat of Karachi Kings this season, played 3 lost 3.

PSL 7 Match Summary:

Karachi Kings scored 170 runs after losing the 7 wickets and gave Lahore Qalandars a defendable target of 171 runs for the victory. The start of Karachi Kings was great, The two openers Babar Azam, and Sharjeel formed an important 84 runs partnership, however, Sharjeel Khan was bowled by Hafeez on scored 60 runs. Karachi King’s second wicket fell at 106, third at 122 runs, fourth at 138, and fifth at 142 runs. Later, Sahibzada Farhan and Joe Clarke batted aggressively to take the score to 163. Sahibzada Farhan got out, and Imad also went for a duck.

Babar scored 41 runs but batted very slow. Lahore Qalandars’ Haris Rauf took three wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Zaman Khan, Rashid Khan, and Muhammad Hafeez took one wicket each.

Abdullah Shafique of Qalandar’s started the inning with Fakhar. On 24 runs, Shafique was out after scoring 8 runs. When Qalandar’s reached 48, Kamran Ghulam also lost his wicket. The third wicket of Hafeez fell on 90 runs. Fakhar Zaman played really well, made 106 runs. Mohammad Nabi, Umaid Asif, and Imad Wasim took 1 wicket each.
