Emmerdale viewers are convinced a star could be set to exit the village as they predicted a romance twist.

Love was in the air for tonight’s episode of the ITV show as Matty Barton and Amy Wyatt got married. The wedding was thrown into doubt when Kerry Wyatt revealed she was unable to pay for it.

However, Eric Pollard stepped in to fund the occasion and the wedding then went ahead smoothly. However, viewers were confused for a moment when Amy threw her bouquet indoors and it was caught by Victoria Barton.

Samantha said: “Throwing a bouquet indoors with lots of candles about?!…” Mariam commented: “Wait..The bouquet was thrown across all those tables with lit candles on..? Okayyyy”

Natalie posted: “Throwing a bouquet backwards when there’s candles about. Surprised the wedding didn’t end up in flames” Tray posted: “A bouquet toss in the dining room?!”

Victoria is currently dating Jacob Gallagher, who has cancelled his plans to leave the village and study abroad in Berlin for six weeks to prioritise their relationship. Jacob is currently content with his decision and agreed with an assertion that they will be the next two to wed in the Dales.

However, viewers are not convinced after Victoria’s reaction and think the romance will soon end, which would lead to Jacob’s temporary departure. Yvonne said: “Jacob and Victoria will not last much longer”
