A 17-year-old mother and her five-month-old daughter are missing, Milwaukee police said in a Thursday news release.
The mother Aurora Sandoval and her child Athena Sandoval were last seen talking with a youth specialist on May 6, police said. That contact was at about 3:40 p.m. on the 3400 block of N. 44th St.
Police described Aurora as a Hispanic woman who is about 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. She has black hair with blue streaks and bangs; brown eyes; a mole by her nose and on her cheek by her chin.
Athena was described as having dark hair.
Anyone with information on the two are asked to call Milwaukee Police Department District 7 office at 414-935-7272.
