After a slow start of 2.3 million views in its opening weekend on Netflix, viewership of Andrew Scott’s “Ripley” barely increased in its first full week of availability. The limited series reached 2.5 million views between April 8 and April 14, making it the streamer’s No. 6 English-language TV title of the week — low for a project of its caliber, given the talent and IP attached.
Meanwhile, “Sex and the City” fell of the chart after debuting at No. 6 when it was added to Netflix the week before via a licensing deal. Though it may or may not be far behind this week’s No. 10 series, it seems that the HBO classic didn’t reach Gen Z in the way Netflix had hoped — or maybe they’re just tuning in on Max, where the series was already available.

Netflix’s most-watched title of the week was a movie, the crime documentary “What Jennifer Did,” which debuted with 18 million views in its first five days on Netflix and was trailed by the live-action/animated crossover “Woody Woodpecker goes to Camp” with 11.8 million views in three days.
Unusually, the most-watched TV series wasn’t an English-language project: the South Korean limited series “Parasyte: The Grey” hit 9.8 million views in its second week on the chart. The No. 2 title on that chart also outpaced the English-language winner, with Season 1 of the German drama “Crooks” hitting 5 million views, also in its second week.
For the third week in a row, though, “3 Body Problem” was the most-watched English-language series, this time with 4.8 million views. “Unlocked: A Jail Experiment,” an unscripted series shot at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility in Little Rock, Ark. debuted right behind it with 3.9 million views, while the No. 3 position went to Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen,” enjoying its sixth week on the chart with 3.7 million views.
With 3.1 million views, “Bad Dinosaurs” landed at No. 4 in its third week on the chart, followed by the debut of limited series “Baby Reindeer,” which hit 2.6 million views in three days. Season 2 of “Heartbreak High” debuted with 2.3 million views in the same amount of time, landing in seventh place.
“Files of the Unexplained” took No. 8 with 2.2 million views in its first full week of availability on Netflix, while No. 9 went to “Testament: The Story of Moses” with 2.1 million views in its second full week. Rounding out the bottom of the chart was “I Woke Up a Vampire,” which hit 1.6 million views in its first full week of streaming.
