PESHAWAR: more than 50 people were martyred and several others were injured in an explosion at a mosque in Qissa Khawani Bazaar on Friday.
As per the news sources, more than five people were killed and several others were injured in an explosion at a mosque in Peshawar’s famous Qissa Khawani Bazaar Kocha Risaldar. Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene. Police sources said that before the blast, unidentified persons opened indiscriminate firing in the area, and then an explosion took place inside the mosque, in which 5 people were killed and several others were injured. Rescue, police, and bomb disposal squads rushed to the spot and a heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area
