Vidyaben Shah Indian social worker and activist passes away at age 98

Vidyaben Shah was an Indian social worker and activist. She died on 19, June 2020 at her residence in Delhi, she was 98 years old, Her death news was given to the media by his son Mihir Shah. She died to prolong her illness.

Vidyaben Shah Details

 

Vidyaben was born in Jetpur (Gujarat, India) on November 7, 1922. When she was in university she participated in the Quit India Movement. she was a social worker and national award winner. Vidyaben was the president of the Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW) from 1976 to 1979 and then from 1985 to 1994.
