Born on July 12, 1999, in Alexandria, Egypt, Moamen is a professional athlete and a member of the Egyptian karate national team. With an impressive list of accomplishments to his name, Moamen is a world champion two times over, having won a silver medal in category-67kg U21 in Spain in 2017 and a bronze medal in category 60 kg U21 in Chile in 2019.

From 2015 to 2017, Moamen competed for the Shabab Al Ahli Club in the UAE, where he won the UAE President’s Cup and the UAE League. In 2019, he competed for Al Hilal SFC and won first place in the Arab championship for clubs, cementing his status as one of the best karate athletes in the region.
Moamen’s recent performances in 2022 have been nothing short of exceptional. He won 3rd place in Series A Cairo 2022 and 1st place in Series A Kocaeli Turkey 2022. Currently ranked 12th in category-67kg Kumite males, Moamen is determined to top the world rankings in 2023 and achieve a medal in the Men’s Karate World Championship, which will be held in Hungary in October.
In addition to his athletic pursuits, Moamen is a graduate of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, where he received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
