Murad Ali Shah orders tightening of lockdown in Karachi & Sindh

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has directed the police to have a lockdown once again same as the first 7 days in Sindh province. Chief Minister Sindh says that three infringing factories have been sealed.

It is to be noted that spokesman Karachi police have said that there are proceedings on the lockdown violation. The number of people arrested in the city so far has been 1869. Karachi Police said 655 cases have been registered against the arrested persons.

Meanwhile, Karachi Electronics Market and Dealers Association President Mohammad Irfan Rizwan have said that all markets are closed for 22 days and markets are closed till April 14, we will open all markets in Karachi from 15th April at any cost. Karachi Timber Market association told the media today at Karachi Press Club that we don’t need funds from Government, we need relief in bills and school fees. We will open all timber markets/shops from April 15.

In addition, private hospital owners and chief executive officers, and leading doctors of the country have appealed to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to extend the lockdown after April 14, otherwise, the spread of the Coronavirus cannot be overcome.
