Email & Twitter account of Hammad Azhar hacked

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and a former national assembly member Hammad Azhar’s email and Twitter account have been hacked, Fawad Chaudhry tweeted. According to details, former Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in a statement on the social networking site Twitter that the email and Twitter account of PTI leader Hamad Azhar has been hacked, we are working to restore it, meanwhile, ignore any Tweets that may come from his account. In his last Tweet, he opposes the decision of the current government in Pakistan on petrol prices.

Hammad’s statement has been released from his Twitter account after the social media giant Twitter employees reached out to him. He said in a Tweet;

A phone locator (Fake Tower) was used to connect to my phone and access my text messages and data. From there they started sending reset requests to all accounts (emails, apple, Twitter). We have a fascist but very afraid govt in power.
